Satchell Lane is a full first floor extension to a bungalow within a picturesque costal village. Our brief was to provide a new way of living in the property by creating a large open plan kitchen dining, living and study space to the first floor whilst minimising impact on the existing ground floor.

The design opens new views towards the estuary providing a clean bright open space with a strong connection to the surrounding landscape. It was described as “an elegant architectural example of a clean-cut modern design that improves the standard of architecture in this position enhancing the setting of the conservation area.“ by Eastleigh’s Built Heritage Consultant.
