Satchell Lane is a full first floor extension to a bungalow within a picturesque costal village.
Currently under construction, we will keep you posted on our progress.

View out towards the river from the main first floor living space. The large sliding doors have just been installed.

Finishing off the large glazed gable ends – nearly there..

Our brief was to provide a new way of living in the property by creating a large open plan kitchen dining, living and study space to the first floor whilst minimising impact on the existing ground floor.
The design opens new views towards the estuary providing a clean bright open space with a strong connection to the surrounding landscape. It was described as “an elegant architectural example of a clean-cut modern design that improves the standard of architecture in this position enhancing the setting of the conservation area.“ by Eastleigh’s Built Heritage Consultant.
